Children Worship and Wonder (CW&W) is an exciting way children experience God while learning about God. It uses a sensorimotor style of storytelling as a primary means for encountering God, so God is experienced, not just learned about. This worship service is geared especially for children ages 3 through 8. Children sing sings, pray, listen to one of God's stories and then express their wonder through work time using various forms of art medium.
We utilize the books Young Children and Worship written by Sonja M. Stewart and Jerome W. Berryman, and Following Jesus written by Sonja M. Stewart, as the structure for this ministry program.
