• Sunday School Classes

  Two adult Sunday School classes to choose from!

  Join us Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. either in the Depot for Bible study utilizing Right Now Media and open discussion or in the Christian Center that tackles the Bible head on with deep discussion.

  Youth Sunday School

  Down at "The Rock" at 108 Fourth Ave., our youth gather with Nancy Summerour for learning God's word and discussion. (For Middle and High School students.)

  Children's Sunday School

  Our children meet in the Christian Center for learning and activities! The Christian Center is located next to the Sanctuary at 105 Third Ave. (For Preschool through Grade 5)

  All are welcome!

• Mid-Week Refuel!

  Come out and join us on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. in the Depot to study and discuss God's True Word.  Let us know you are coming, please -- a light supper is provided. Email or text Marshall or Jennifer.

   

• Traditional Service

  Join us for our traditional worship service at 11am, Sundays, in the Sanctuary. You may enter the Sanctuary through doors located on Pine Street or on Third Avenue. You may park anywhere in the parking lot nestled between the Depot building located on Lynn Bonds Avenue and the Christian Center on Third Street.

• Bluegrass Service

  Come for our early worship service! All are welcome! The Bluegrass Service is held Sundays at 9:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. You may enter the Sanctuary through doors located on Pine Street or on Third Avenue. You may park anywhere in the parking lot nestled between the Depot building located on Lynn Bonds Avenue and the Christian Center on Third Street.

• Hours for The Fillin' Station: 9am 'til 12pm. BE IN LINE BY 11:45AM

  The Fillin' Station provides emergency food supplies, one time per month, for residents of Effingham County.

  Services will be provided via drive-thru only.

  Please note you must be in car line no later than 11:45am to receive service.

• Staff Needed

  NURSERY WORKERS

  We are looking for full-time/part-time Nursery Workers to care for our youngest members! Persons interested should optimally have early childcare experience and a love of service to these precious ones. The position would require Sunday hours from 9am until 12:30pm. There will be other times of need for special services scheduled for our Church Family. 

  Pay starts at $18/hour

  CHURCH SECRETARY

  We are looking for someone to take on the administrative tasks of the church. Applicant should be proficient in Word, Excel, and Publisher software; familiar with operations of office equipment; ability to multi-task; communicate efficiently with others and work closely with all committees and ministries of GCC.

  Hours are part-time, Monday through Thursday. Pay starts at $18/hour.
