The Rev. David Grandgeorge began as our pastor, April 1, 2007.

The Rev. Grandgeorge came to us from Richmond, Kentucky where he served as a program manager for Foothills Community Action Partnership.  He has also served congregations in Perryville and Berea, Kentucky.

David holds a Masters of Divinity degree from Lexington Theological Seminary and a B.S in Agricultural Busines and Economics from Arkansas State University. Before he entered the ministry, the native of Stuttgart, Arkansas, was a farmer, representing the fourth generation on a family farm where he raised mostly rice and soybeans.

He brings to Guyton a wonderful blend of Biblical knowledge, strong pastoral skills, and insightful preaching and teaching. David leads Bible studies on Sunday evenings.

David and his wife Kay live in the Parsonage at 303 Pine Street, Guyton.
