The red chalice with the white cross is our denomination's emblem.  The chalice denotes our weekly celebration of the Lord's Supper.  The St. Andrew's Cross represents our Scottish-Presbyterian background.

Our History

We are affiliated with The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). This mainstream Protestant movement began during the Great Awakening of the early 19th Century on the American frontier as a restoration movement for the New Testament Church.

In an attempt restore the vital spirit of the New Testament, we emphasize the universal name "Christian," the weekly observance of the Lord's Supper, baptism by immersion upon profession of faith, and the priesthood of all believers.

We stand on the authority of the Bible, believing that "where Scripture speaks, we speak. Where Scripture is silent, we are silent."
